K-1 Spider Cookies

Students researched different species of spiders and began their first individual research project. They will continue publishing their spider books next week. Here is the link to the website we are using for research http://www.spiderroom.info/index.html

 Read Aloud - We read Skeleton for Dinner and discussed how miscommunication amongst friends can be FRIGHTFUL!

 Students created edible models of spiders that included the cephalothorax, abdomen, legs, fangs, eyes, and spinnerets. The best part was when we got to pretend to be a spider predator and eat the spiders!

After our sweet treats, students used their critical thinking skills to complete 12 Halloween Logic Puzzles.
