During our Reading lesson students discussed the connections they found in Tiger Rising and how the characters are developing in this story.
Students illustrated their fish to go along with the essay they wrote last week...How Can You Make the World a Better Place? This essay prompt was inspired by our Book of the Month titled Only One You.
Our STEM challenge had the kids put their engineering hats on. They had to build the tallest possible structure using 20 popsicle sticks, 12 clothes pins, and 2 binder clips.
Here is our winning team! Their structure measured 67 centimeters high.
We started our first Gizmo lab where students measured mass, density, and volume.
