Mrs. Branum is my new co-teacher...hooray! She will be joining us Tuesday-Thursday. She teaches Gifted at Kernan Trail on Monday and Friday. With our growing Gifted population we are excited to have another Captain aboard our ship!
We began our Weslandia Unit today by reading the story and brainstorming ideas for creating our own civilizations! For the next few weeks students will work on a brochure to showcase their civilization.
Mr. Husein taught us about recording our chess moves. It is important to be unambiguous (word of the day) when noting your moves. Example Knight moves to Queen Bishop in the 3rd row would be recorded like this N-QB3.
Oh no a classic chess mistake...white on your right when setting up the board!
