We had a great time with this spooky story writing activity! Students rolled dice to get their basic story elements and then had to develop the details of their spooky story. Their story also had to end with a twist to surprise the reader!
Before making their edible spider models, students researched spider anatomy using the website www.spiderroom.info Their spider models included lots of details like the cephalothorax, abdomen, fangs, legs, eyes, and spinnerets!
