3rd grade math mania

Today in Junior Achievement we learned about....
When you make a business sometimes you have to take risks and sometimes you earn rewards - Pearson
Problem solving - Sarah
To be a successful business you need a lot of suppliers - LJ
Making good business decisions - Olivia

Businesses are interdependent on each other for making products - Katie
Since this was the final JA lesson for the year, each student earned a completion certificate. We are so thankful for our wonderful volunteer, Ms. Kim who donated many hours preparing and implementing the JA lessons.
A student earned $77.42 to buy this metal detector. He earned his money by pulling weeds in his yard. He was kind enough to allow other students to use his metal detector during recess to find "hidden treasures".
Math Mania - Students worked in pairs to solve word problems involving the Iditarod Dog Sled Race.
