During recess we took a few minutes to observe nature at work dispersing thousands of seeds in the wind. Students found these 3 stages of seeds and we discussed the different ways seeds are spread out in nature.
Most of our morning was spent researching the Iditarod and the Mushers who are competing this year.
Black History Month - We read about one of the most famous Civil Rights activists Rosa Parks and how her bus boycott inspired a change in segregation laws.
