Today we read about how engineers and architects design buildings to withstand earthquakes. Then we made model buildings using 30 toothpicks and 30 mini marshmallows. Lastly, we simulated an earthquake using a pan of wobbly JELLO. Shaking the JELLO pans and eating the marshmallows were the highlight of the activity:)
