We had our first Passion Project presentation this morning! This young man's driving question was how do I become an Irish Dancing World Champion? He was able to conduct 2 interviews with Irish Dancing champions and share them with our class today. Last weekend he competed in a dance competition and won this plate for first place overall! The most exciting part of his presentation was when he did a live performance in front of our class. What an outstanding performance!
Thank you to our wonderful classroom volunteers who helped make our literary pumpkins a work of art!
Our Science lesson today was based on how to classify matter, and we investigated how matter can sink or float. Students worked cooperatively in teams to build a boat that could float.
Then for our ULTIMATE challenge they had to see how many paperclips their boat could hold before it sank. Many teams were able to float 10 paperclips!
