What a Fantastic Friday! I loved co-teaching with Mrs. Justo & Mrs. McLeod and feeling all kids' energy and ideas flying around the room. The students completed a Multiple Intelligence survey to find out which smarts they were strong in and which areas they could improve in.
Back by popular demand was Think Fun! This time is reserved for students to create, play, cooperate and most important have fun! Think Fun choices include chess, Legos, marble mazes, board games, puzzles, art, and computers. There is something for every matey to enjoy!
This young man will celebrate his birthday tomorrow! Thank you Mr. H for the cupcakes and goody bags.
We practiced our "Nature Smarts" by taking a nature walk and recording our observations in our Science Journals and collecting some treasures in our baggies.
Back in the classroom we used what we found in nature to inspire us to create songs, posters, maps, and models. Students were grouped according to their Multiple Intelligence Survey results. Mrs. Justo, Mrs. McLeod and I were WOWed by what the students were able to build and how well the groups worked together.
