The potential energy of 3rd Grade

Gratitude Journal - We reflected on things we learned last year and set new learning goals for this year! Allee shared her journal...

Today we learned about kinetic and potential energy. Our class made catapults and launched them and measured how far the marshmallows traveled.
This is when we made our catapults. We used rubber bands and spoons and popsicle sticks. Kai won the contest with a result of 2.81 meters.
Our class cut out our map and got a marker and bordered the map. Our goal is to make it look like a old map.
