Wake-Up Work
Students were quite challenged with today's wake-up work. We talked about what to do when we get frustrated or stumped and how to be persistent and work through tough problems. Then we were able to come up with some great solutions! Can you think of who would be asking these questions?!?

Gratitude Journals
Today's prompt was "What are you grateful for in nature?" I am grateful for this beautiful cool weather so we decided to enjoy it by taking a little field trip to the 5th grade cottages and community garden. A big thank you to Ms. Szerba for providing an impromptu Science lesson on the chickens and their newly hatched baby chicks. We even got to keep a blue egg!
